Inspired by the view of Jean Perrin (Nobel Prize in Physics 1926), a renowned French physicist and science communicator who promoted “showing science in the making”, we ask the researchers behind the FACCE-JPI projects to share their science using their own words in an engaging and comprehensible manner.
The outcome is the “FACCE-JPI Scientific voices” program: a series of monthly podcasts with a running time of 10 minutes in English and the native language of the scientist if applicable. It engages scientists working under the FACCE-JPI umbrella to explain their field of research in the European collaboration context. The audio interviews will be published monthly to listen to or download both at the FACCE-JPI Project Wheel
and our website
. They will all be in English and the scientist’s native language if applicable. We will kick off on the 20th of September with our first interviewee, Stig Uggerhøj Andersen, the coordinator of the ProFaba project under the SusCrop ERA-NET Call. Do not miss him, either in English or in Danish!
