FACCE-JPI speaks in 18 languages

The FACCE-JPI Motion graphics is from today available in 18 European languages.

The Joint Programming Initiative on Agriculture, Food Security and Climate Change wishes to expand its linguistic horizons and communicate with scientists, policy makers and other stakeholders in their native tongue.

This inclusive gesture is intended to highlight that, despite the widespread use of English as the common language, our initiative is polyglot: discussions about FACCE-JPI take place in Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Norwegian, Polish, Romanian, Spanish, Swedish and Turkish.

Moreover, this short explanatory video can introduce FACCE-JPI to a widely diverse public throughout the participating countries. The language barrier shall not be an obstacle to make a good first impression!

This translation endeavour would not have been possible without the enthusiasm and contribution from numerous members of the Secretariat and the Governing Board.
