At the 2nd Research Programme Meeting, held on June 12th, over 75 researchers, funders, policy makers and other stakeholders shared the latest updates on the 10 ERA-GAS research projects. Invited speakers from the International Panel on Climate Change, New Zealand’s Agricultural Greenhouse Gas Research Center, Teagasc, and Wageningen University and Research, gave presentations on interface of science and policy. All participants contributed with their knowledge and experiences in a valorisation workshop on value creation and stakeholder engagement. In addition, in a dedicated session, participants were invited to identify the most relevant and pressing research needs on Mitigation of Climate Change. The Research Programme Meeting, organised by FACCE ERA-GAS partners WUR and Teagasc, was integrated in the 8th International Symposium on Non-CO2 Greenhouse Gases (NCGG8) “Global Challenges and Local Solutions”.
