The Stakeholder Advisory Board (StAB) provides end-user and stakeholder advice to the Governing Board, in particular through input to the Strategic Research Agenda and Implementation Plans, and through input to working groups developing joint actions.
The StAB advises on ways to increase the relevance of FACCE-JPI’s work for stakeholders, and suggests ways to enhance the dissemination and (societal) impact of the joint actions.
This board currently consists of 14 European and international organizations, themselves representing a great number of other (national/regional) organizations active in the food, environment and agricultural sectors.
The current StAB mandate runs from 2017 until 2020. A elections process has been initiated and it is confirmed that all present members have expressed interest to stay on the board until 2023. It is expected that the number of member organisations will increase soon, most likely in the next couple of months.
The Board is chaired by Rebeca Fernandez (FoodDrinkEurope), and has two Vice-Chairs: Bram Moeskops (TPOrganics) and Amrit Nanda (Plants for the Future European Technology Platform).
